Texas, will debut Daredevil Dive Flying Machines, the world’s tallest Zamperla Air Race. Experience the thrills and sensations of weightlessness through aerial banks, loops and dives, all while seated in a retro, four-seater steampunk flying machine. Sharply turning right side up and upside down, riders will break from formation and manoeuvre into aerobatic dogfights during the barnstorming journey, all while soaring nearly five stories above Crackaxle Canyon.


Quassy Amusement & Waterpark’s ship is about to come in! The Middlebury, Connecticut lakeside property will introduce Tidal Wave, a thrilling family ride from the SBF/Visa Group that incorporates a huge clipper-like themed vessel suspended on a swinging pendulum that soars more than 30 feet into the air. Canada’s Wonderland, Vaughan, Ontario, is adding an exciting airplane ride for children in Planet Snoopy. From Zamperla, Beagle Brigade Airfield will feature six suspended airplanes that zip through the air, taking its young pilots for an exciting flight. The Buffalo Heritage Carousel project at Canalside, a solar-powered carousel, will open in Buffalo, New York. After more than 60 years in storage, the De Angelis Carousel is a three-row, park-style menagerie carousel. It was the most fanciful model and one of only about 20 ever produced by the four Herschell-Spillman carousel companies in nearby North Tonawanda. The menagerie of 34 animals, plus three display figures, features 30 horses plus a lion, tiger, ostrich, deer, giraffe, mule, and sea dragon. The three

chariots include a custom-carved, handicapped-accessible Erie Canal boat, an original, two-bench chariot with carved dancing goddesses on the side; and a replica of the original rocking gondolier. A classic Wurlitzer Model 153 carousel band organ will provide dance music from the attraction's inner loop. It will be housed in a $4 million multisided roundhouse.

Zamperla is celebrating the 10th


anniversary of New York’s Luna Park in 2020 with an expansion. “Ropes Course Adventure Zone” from RCI Adventure Products will feature circus-like theming (custom sun shades above the attraction itself and will allow climbers to experience breathtaking views of the boardwalk and ocean. Also new at Luna Park will be Zamperla’s “Big WaveZ,” an interactive water ride that will make its worldwide debut and transport guests into the lair of the Roman god Neptune. Playland’s Castaway Cove, Ocean City,


New Jersey, is adding a three lane slide from Battech Industries for the 2020 season. A new Bertazzon Rock and Roll themed Himilaya ride and an updated Zamperla Helicopter ride are also set to appear. In the summer of 1992 the Log Jammer opened at Kiddieland in Melrose Park, Illinois. The O.D. Hopkins-built flume instantly became a classic and beloved


attraction until the park closed at the end of the 2009 season. It has now been purchased by Santa’s Village, Dundee, Illinois, where it will reappear as Yuletide Plunge. The park will also introduce a Visa Top Spin (Mini 365 Midi). Both flume and Top Spin were brokered by IRM. The first production model of Chance Rides’ new battery-powered C.P. Stewart Amusement Carnival of Connecticut will operate the new SBF/Visa Skyflyer mini coaster. Dino’s Wonderwheel Park at Coney Island, New York, will introduce an SBF/Visa Skyflyer. Jack Hammer, a drop tower with a new


theme, will debut at Casino Pier, Seaside Heights, New Jersey. A KMG Surf Ride will open at Western Playland, Sunland Park, New Mexico. The Track, Gulf Shores, Alabama, will


receive a new SBF/Visa compact spinning coaster. Riversport Adventure Park, Oklahoma City, will introduce a Dual Euro Bungee.


Dark Rides At Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, guests will find themselves inside a Mickey Mouse cartoon shoot. Anything can happen aboard Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, where guests will burst through the Chinese Theatre movie screen and join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and pals on
