will introduce Cheetah Chase for the 2020 season. It is their third water coaster and will feature two ProSlide rocketBlast- powered racing slides totaling more than 1700 feet (518 m) of track. to Carowinds in 2020 when Boogie Board Racer, the longest mat racing slide in the Southeast, debuts next summer at Carolina Harbor waterpark, Charlotte, North Carolina. From WhiteWater West, on Boogie Board Racer guests will ascend to nearly 60 feet (18 m), grab a mat, and choose one of six lanes where they’ll wait for the green light to begin an exhilarating competitive ride. Racers will zoom through tubes, high-speed chutes and a thrilling 360º loop. A final drop brings them to maximum acceleration before they reach the finish lane to splashdown. Something new is taking root at Lake Compounce's Crocodile Cove water park in Bristol, Connecticut. New England's family theme and water park will add Venus Vortex in 2020. From WhiteWater West and standing six-stories above the lake, Venus Vortex features a unique ride experience, with twists, turns, and sudden drops. After journeying through a dark tunnel, riders will experience weightlessness as they plummet down the near vertical drop, slide back and forth before the end. is transforming its waterpark with the addition of Mega Mayhem, which will be the largest waterslide addition in the history of the waterpark. Worlds of Fun in 2020 when RipTide Raceway, the longest mat racing water slide in the Midwest, debuts this summer at Oceans of Fun water park, Kansas City, Missouri. From WhiteWater West, RipTide Raceway will take guests five stories high before they speed down four side-by-side tunnels atop a soft foam mat for more than 476 feet (145 m) down a winding hillside, around a tight 360º loop and through a rapid final descent before splashdown.

Kings Dominion, Doswell, Virginia, is


renovating the Coconut Shores area of its 20-acre water park, Soak City. Designed and built by ADG, additions to the area include three major new enhancements. Lighthouse Landing is set in an oversized wading pool and combines the interactivity of a multi-level play structure with water slides. Sand Dune Lagoon is located just steps away from Lighthouse Landing. With a water depth of 24 inches (61 cm) this mini wave pool is a great way for little swimmers to cool down. Three Palace Entertainment waterparks, including Sandcastle, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe, Greensboro, North Carolina, and Raging Waters, Los Angeles, California, will add Bombs Away, a high altitude, looping free- fall body slide from Whitewater West for the 2020 season. Tsunami Surge from WhiteWater West. Towering an incredible 86 feet (26 m) in height, this innovative water coaster will be the tallest-of-its-kind in the world. Riders will reach a top speed of 28 mph (45 kph) over 950 feet (290 m) of enclosed tunnels and open-air slides with three gravity- defying blasts and five breathtaking drops. New York, announced that its waterpark will become Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and welcome a massive new slide. From ProSlide, Wahoo Wave sends four riders into near vertical surges to experience extended hang times and zero g-forces. Riders plunge 30 feet (9 m) straight down before sweeping up at high speeds as they arc across the top of a massive water wall, virtually defying gravity before descending into a refreshing pool below. In Cherry Valley, Illinois, Magic Waters will become Hurricane Harbor Rockford when it opens this summer. The park is also adding to its thrilling attraction lineup with the only tailspin waterslide in the Midwest - Tidal Wave. From WhiteWater West, this uniquely designed waterslide will send riders through a limitless wave as they descend from 43 feet (13 m) above the ground, reaching speeds of 15 mph (24 kph) through twists and turns. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix, Glendale, Arizona, is offering guests a bigger, better and wetter experience with its largest expansion in years. The exciting, new Paradise Island will feature a 12,000 square foot (1,115 sq m) activity pool. Guests will keep cool and enjoy plenty of fun in the sun with a new water volleyball area and a unique water basketball court. The addition will also include more shade, lounge seating, restrooms and new culinary options.
