It will feature two main wave attractions: a massive, 35,000 square foot wave pool and a winding wave river spanning an area of 24,000 square feet. There will also be a heavily themed kid’s play-and-spray feature, a kid’s activity pool with slides, an ADG Adventure Lagoon ride featuring a Wibit water obstacle course, a flat-water cabana pool, a double FlowRider surf ride and four large slide complexes from ProSlide Technologies that will include family raft rides, body slides, mat racers, and more. Jersey, is expanding with the addition of "The Water Main” Aquatic Park. Guests will be able cool off and swim and splash their way around an expansive two acre outdoor aquatic park with two multi-zone pools featuring a slide tower, Wibit-brand challenge course, swim vortex, in-pool basketball area, themed splash park, plus family and leisure swim zones. Surrounding the pools are deck chairs and lawn areas for relaxation and sunbathing, walk-up food and beverage service and private cabana rentals. Splash City Adventure Park, the first major
water park of its kind in St. George, Utah, is aiming to open its gates this summer. It will be the home of the longest lazy-river in the state of Utah, crowned with a colourful tower consisting of nine twisting water slides. The park will also maintain a state-of- the-art wave pool, and kid-zone play areas and splash pads. Kalahari Resorts Texas in Round Rock,
Texas, is set to open in November. It will feature both indoor and outdoor waterparks, and an indoor adventure area with small rides, a ropes course, climbing wall, indoor zip line, mini-golf, bowling, laser tag, and more than 200 video games.
Morgan’s Wonderland, San Antonio,
Texas, is building the ultra-accessible Morgan’s Wonderland Sports, a $3 million complex that will offer fitness and competition for athletes with different abilities. The three-acre facility will mirror the mission of inclusion that drives unique Morgan’s Wonderland theme park and Morgan’s Inspiration Island splash park. Morgan’s Wonderland Sports will provide 8,000 square feet (743 sq m) of covered space for wheelchair sports – basketball, softball, baseball, football, soccer, pickleball (12 courts) and tennis (six courts). But because of the pandemic it was recently announced all of Morgan’s facilities will remain closed in 2020.

A second new park, Legoland New York
Resort in Goshen, also opted to delay it’s opening to 2021 because of the pandemic.
New Lands Inspired by the legacy of founder Milton S. Hershey, Hersheypark, the 121-acre (49 hectare) amusement park in Hershey, Pennsylvania, announced a $150 million transformational expansion. Opening in summer 2020, Hershey’s Chocolatetown is a new region at Hersheypark where guests can eat, play, shop and gather year round as part of the development of 23 acres (9 hectares).

At Disney California Adventure Park, Anaheim, California, Marvel will establish more of a presence with the opening of the Avengers Campus. Spider-Man will be a highlight of the new land. Recruits aboard Web-Slinger vehicles will help Spidey collect Spider-Bots, pesky surveillance devices developed by Doctor “Doc Ock” Octopus. Guests will also be able to order oversized and miniaturised food items at Pym Test Kitchen, courtesy of the Pym Particles developed by Ant-Man and The Wasp. Other comic book heroes including Black Panther, Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange will take up residence at the Avengers Campus. Legoland California Resort will unveil the Legoland Movie World. Celebrating the Legoland film franchise, guests will discover the creative world of Bricksburg and experience the incredible Masters of Flight ride, a Brogent m-Ride Flying Theater attraction that features cutting edge technology including a 180º turn in the ride experience. In addition, kids and families will get to enjoy the rush of falling from Unikitty’s Disco Drop from Zierer. The adventure doesn’t stop there as guests can explore Benny’s Play Ship, ride a fully re-imagined carousel, and meet Emmet and all of his friends in Emmet’s Super Suite apartment. Michigan’s Adventure, Muskegon, Michigan, will debut its new Peanuts themed kids’ area, Camp Snoopy, for Spring of 2020. Camp Snoopy will feature five family rides, including a family-friendly roller coaster and beautiful natural landscaping with plenty of shaded seating and pathways that offer something to explore around every corner.
Multimedia Attractions Hyperdeck, MajorMega’s immersive, multiplayer virtual reality experience, will be offered as part of Hersheypark’s Chocolatetown in summer 2020.
