At a cost of C$52 million, the revamped park now features 14 new attractions and North America’s first spokeless Ferris wheel. The whole family can have a blast with the Méga Parc’s many attractions, which offers various levels of adrenaline. The new park is the largest indoor amusement park in Québec and the second largest nationwide. It features 18 rides and experiences, including 14 new attractions and four restored rides. These include the dazzling Force G Gyro Loop from Moser, the classic Condor plane ride by Zamperla, the majestic Bertazzon Carrousel, and the refurbished Électro runaway roller coaster by Mack Rides. The most spectacular ride of them all is undoubtedly the Zénith. At 76 feet (24 M) in diameter, it is the first Hubless Wheel from Larson International in North America.

fter over a year of major construction, Oxford Properties Group’s new Méga Parc at Galeries de la Capitale shoppping mall, Québec City, Québec, Canada, has opened its doors and welcomed its first visitors.

skating circuit which runs through the park. It is the longest indoor skating trail in Canada. Party from SBF/Visa, the interactive 4D Cortex theatre by Triotech, and the many arcade games in the Salle des machines are guaranteed crowd pleasers. Other attractions include the Arsenal from iPlayCo, the SBF/Visa Piston tower ride, the iPlayCo Centrale, the Hélix tea cups and the Express train ride by SBF/Visa, the Convoyeur, a Speedway from Zamperla, the Pare-chocs, bumper cars from RDC, and the Mini-mousse amusement park for toddlers filled with iPlayco items. The fun-filled park also features high tech elements, including state-of-the-art lighting and sound, a giant screen, a stage for shows, and a water fountain offering up a dazzling display of water and light. The Méga Parc is a highly functional venue that’s perfect for gatherings. It has three rooms fully equipped for children’s parties and private events. Companies can even rent the entire amusement park for corporate events.
New Schedule Visitors looking for entertainment and thrills are going to appreciate the Méga Parc’s extended new hours. It is now open Monday to Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the summertime, they will ramp up the fun even more by staying open until 9 p.m. on Saturdays. It’s official: the mega construction work that started in September 2017 is now complete and ready for fun.
