and friends from the industry face to face, who we haven’t seen for a way too long time, cannot be replaced. The numerous discussions we had with our clients during the three days in Barcelona made us more than confident and optimistic about the short and the long- term future of our industry. And we very much look forward to a similar experience in Orlando this November.” Benoit Cornet, CEO of BoldMove Nation said:”It’s been great to see people live and feel the enthusiasm of venue owners who see visitors returning, and start planning for the next seasons. We have tremendous interest in our Smash & Reload dark ride, which fits exactly the current need of regional parks for an affordable and fun indoor family attraction. The interactive Smash & Reload dark ride combines an easy gameplay with hilarious TooMush IP and action-based shooting, all on a compact footprint with high throughput. Park owners can create a unique experience,

accessible to all ages and still challenging with a high-scoring application. We take the dark ride truly back to it essence, without compromising on fun.”

said:”BoldMove’s successful live ‘entry’ at IAAPA Expo is strong evidence of the Nation concept, engaging partners like Polymorph, AdventureLAB, Chauvet, Triotech, DWL and Mediatoon Licensing. All of these contributed actively to the stand fitting and activities during the show. It’s been great to shine together, forging alliances and friendships to confidently create happier worlds for our customers. Stay tuned as there is much more to come soon!” It was a successful show for Simtec Systems too. “After 1.5 years it was a very nice experience to have direct contact with partners, friends and customers again at IAAPA EXPO Europe,” said Andreas Stickel, director, business development told Park World. “We had many exciting and good

conversations at the show. We are confident that we will be able to travel to IAAPA Expo in Orlando in November, where we will be able to conduct and continue further interesting discussions. We are glad and happy to be able to have direct contact with partners, customers and friends again.” Christian Martin, vice president of communication and alliances said: “Despite an attendance at 50% of the same show in 2019 (Paris), Triotech was swamped with visitors throughout the Expo in Barcelona. What we noticed is that the leads were highly qualified. Buyers that got through the trouble of travelling in these challenging times were not here “just to see what’s new”, they had specific projects in mind and were ready to do business.”

SunKid, Christopher Kössler, head of marketing at Sunkid said: “For us the show was great. Not only because it was the first show and in-person meeting since a long time, more because our new family ride, The Sunrider, was perceived with great enthusiasm.

“The physically testing of the ride showed the attendees how simple it works and how great in terms of space needed, easy and comfortable usage and target group addressed it is. The simplicity of installation and low budget costs make the product unique and affordable. Everybody was excited also about the add ones which is the option of individualisation and coin operation.” accesso’s focus for this show was on its patented accesso LoQueue suite of virtual queuing solutions and its award-winning accesso Passport online ticketing solution. Jeremy Gray, accesso EMEA sales director said: “It was a brilliant week at IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona! I thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with old and meeting new friends, and very much look forward to IAAPA Expo Orlando in November.”

Joris van Kappen, brand manager for Briq Bookings said: “The IAAPA show was great for us, they truly managed to put together a few amazing and rewarding days.

“We’ve finally managed to meet face-to-face again with a lot of partners and new interesting people and companies in the industry. We are truly looking forward to continuing our conversations with the interesting people we’ve got to meet and look forward to the IAAPA Expo in Orlando.”

At a press event on the Tuesday morning, it showed the new look ride carriage for the first time (pictured). In other news, The Gravity Group was also keen to talk about its new alternative track system which it claims is both economical and more exact. Made
