SBC SUMMIT PREVIEW
Games Global plans UFC surprise G
ames Global has a strong belief that SBC Summit Lisbon will be bigger and better than ever, and the company aims to reflect this on its UFC- themed stand at B572.
An array of representatives from Games Global’s exclusive studio partners will be on hand to explore a diverse range of high- performing games from 2024, as well as showcase products launching in Q4 to existing and potential customers.
Following its partnership with UFC and the release of UFC Gold Blitz Extreme™, there will also be a UFC-themed surprise and two instalments of happy hour on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th September between 16:15 and 17:15.
The Games Global team shared its excitement for the relocation. A representative stated, “Barcelona was a fantastic city in which to host the SBC Summit, and we have a lot of fantastic memories from our trips. However, Lisbon will undoubtedly offer something different. “First and foremost, the Lisbon conference
venue is far larger than Barcelona, allowing our team to forge relationships with even more prospective clients, as well as giving us a chance to meet with a greater range of our valued partners, all in a completely new and unique environment.”
From a content perspective, players should look out for Games Global. The past year saw Games Global with IP content and partnerships with global brands such as UFC, WWE, and Floyd Mayweather, which paved the way for the release of its games.
Thunderkick to host panel in Lisbon T
hunderkick has announced that it will be hosting a panel at this year’s SBC Summit, which will feature several well-respected individuals from across the industry. The panellists will delve into the state of play in the US, both with real-money markets and social casinos, and touch on the growth of Canada’s only regulated market in Ontario.
There will also be several Thunderkick team members on hand throughout the conference to discuss the success of 2024 releases, as well as showcase new slots in the product pipeline.
“The Thunderkick team is incredibly excited about the relocation. Although Barcelona was a brilliant host city, we’re looking forward to exploring somewhere
new and enjoying everything Lisbon has to offer,” shared Svante Sahlström, chief commercial officer at Thunderkick. The company also believes that the relocation is a huge positive as the Lisbon conference centre is larger, allowing representatives to connect with more clients
and build new relationships with a wider range of potential partners.
Sahlström continued, “There is always plenty going on at the Thunderkick headquarters in Stockholm, and the team are working hard to ensure 2025 is another year we flourish as an independent slot studio.” From a commercial perspective, the company hopes to continue growing its presence in the Ontario market, where PokerStars and LeoVegas were launched earlier this year.
To conclude 2024, Thunderkick has plans to expand its footprint in Latin America and is always on the lookout for new opportunities in European markets, with new slots in development.

do not have a stand, our team will be there in full force, with our diaries filled with meetings as we speak with existing partners and potentially acquire some new clients. “We take a different approach with our meetings at industry events, we are very informal and we are just as comfortable meeting in a bar or somewhere else away from the show. We’ll be on a mission to find
the best places for socialising and ensuring our guests feel comfortable and enjoy the hospitality.”
AllSported and TXODDS had a positive 2024, and in 2025, it will be launching a brand-new product at the end of the year. TXODDS has also recently opened an office in Chicago and has gone live with two new products this year.
