SUMMER ROUND-UP
Summer Round-Up JCM
Spotlight on JCM’s Digital Signage Solutions W
hat started as a sportsbook trend with operators wanting to enhance their guests’ experience has grown into a full-fl edged
digital signage revolution. JCM Global (JCM) is leading the way with its broad range of Digital Signage Solutions. Flexible, confi gurable, and capable of
displaying a virtually infi nite range of content, JCM’s Digital Signage Solutions (DSS) help operators of all sizes and in all locations create bigger-than-life experiences for their guests. JCM’s DSS teams work closely with operators
to understand their goals and to develop creative ways to leverage new technology to offer casino guests environments that are unique architectural additions to the individual property and brand. Three recent installations illustrate the
range of solutions JCM offers. At Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel on Long Island,
New York, JCM recently installed an ultra- high resolution sports ticker Digital Signage Solution, which was suspended from the ceiling at the Casino Bar on the property’s second fl oor. The stunning sports ticker solution will keep guests up to date with all the sports action as they play. Jake’s 58 chose JCM’s DSS MAX-R 1.9mm solution, a modular display solution comprised of slim, individual
panels that can be joined together to enhance virtually any space. Because each DSS MAX-R panel is super slim and light, it can be used in an almost limitless variety of executions, from wall- mounted to suspended from the ceiling. JCM’s DSS MAX-R panels have an extra wide viewing angle of 160°, exceptional picture quality, seamless stitching, and are switchable in real-time. In New York City, JCM upped the ante in the electronic table games area at Resorts World Casino New York City with a 21’ diameter (67’ circumference) double-sided 2.5mm Direct View LED display. The circular display hangs above Resorts World’s recently expanded electronic table games area. The confi guration and high-defi nition output give Resorts World creative freedom to communicate to players in dynamic fashion with live game results, recent game outcome history, and original content. Versatile switchers from Analog Way adapt
to various video formats, setting quadrants within the display to simplify confi guration and operation. At the recently opened Link at Choctaw
Casino & Resort – Durant, Oklahoma, Gaming Capital Group commissioned and then JCM worked with The Publicity Lab and Choctaw/GCG to create an immersive art installation. Conceptualized as a “living”
attraction, The Link installation follows the hours of the day, changing from both day to night, as well as the changing seasons. The Link features a setting of other-worldly fl ora and fauna that offer a fantastical version of true-to-life woodland creatures. The concept and installation are completely
custom to the Link’s space. The Publicity Lab and JCM technology teams worked together on the complex design, utilizing JCM’s MAX-R solution. MAX-R panels are extremely fl exible and deliver unbelievably crisp images, bringing the immersive concept to reality. Sound travels with the animals as they move across screen, and the teams worked to plot the placement of the sound system technology within the installation. From larger projects to smaller installations,
JCM’s Digital Signage Solutions are only limited by imagination. “This is an incredible time in the evolution of technology. Whatever our customers can imagine, we can achieve with digital signage. Our solutions provide an amazing and dynamic vehicle for any operator, anywhere, of any size to enhance their guests’ experience with breathtaking visuals,” said JCM SVP of Sales, Marketing & Operations Dave Kubajak.
