CI: What does the future hold for you and the property? Do you have a roadmap you can share some of with our readers? JJ: The Plaza has enjoyed 50 years of historic memories and is poised to create even more in 2021 and beyond with plans to:
• Redevelop the Greyhound bus terminal into a new dynamic destination that enhances the offerings and
ambiance of Main Street.
• Improve connectivity with the burgeoning Symphony Park development by building a landscaped pedestrian
path to connect to a new pedestrian bridge being built by the City of Las Vegas.
• Continue to enhance the guest experience and diversify dining and entertainment offerings
CI: What do you have planned for celebrating the anniversary with your guests - and your staff? JJ: The Plaza will celebrate its 50th anniversary with exclusive promotions and specials throughout 2021. Some of these include:
• 50 Years of Fun hotel package – a stay in a traditional guest room or the upgraded Luxe rooms and suites as
well as: $50 food and beverage credit (per stay), $75 bingo match play per day, up to $50 in free slot play ($10 per day up to 5 days), a 50 Years of Plaza memorabilia gift, late check out / early check-in (pending availability), and free parking. The package requires a minimum two-night stay and is valid for up to 5-nights.
• $50,000 giveaway in cash prizes to 50 winners, including a grand prize of $20,000. Players can earn
entries to win via slot play, and winners will be selected during a live drawing on the casino floor at 7 p.m. on Nov. 20.
• The Plaza Casino will use special commemorative anniversary casino chips on all table games in 2021.
