Assuming we can get there, obviously. As I write this the latest advice from Schiphol Airport is to arrive about four hours before your fl ight is due to leave. Goodness knows what awaits for arrivals, but I’m taking a fully-charged Kindle with me and some slippers just in case. So many wrinkles now in the post-COVID world, except of course it’s not post-anything, it’s still running wild and I’ll be absolutely stunned if I don’t come back to the UK with it. So far I’ve managed to avoid it, not a clue how (not mixing with actual people probably helps, though) and to be honest, I don’t really want it at all – but it seems that the cost of doing business now includes a bit of risk assessment, then ignoring the results of that and going ahead anyway. So in short, there’s what is likely a great show going on in Amsterdam, and we might get to it but we might not, and if we do we might end up really ill. But we might not. See you there!
