Saludos, Ricki 12 SEPTEMBER 2020 T In the meantime, casinos and gaming venues begin to

emerge from the pandemic-imposed lethargy and we wish everything of the best to all gaming operations in Uruguay, Argentina, RRDD, and Mexico, which are setting the pace reopening gambling offerings. Both Chile and Peru continue with their casinos closed for the time being. The reopening of casinos comes along with greater social

responsibility for the general well-being of society, and we ask all involved to comply with new health protocol standards, while taking good care of yourselves, your families, and all the good people of our industry. All the very best to you all,

Cheers, Ricki.

Ricki Chavez-Munoz reports on what’s happening in South America.

US$647.8 billion in 2027, showing an annual consolidated growth rate (ACGR) of 5.6% over the analysed period of 2020-2027. On the item of the Sports Betting Points segment – Corners – with 19.4% share of the market, Latin America will expand with a 9.7% ACGR during the analysis period, outperforming the US, Canada, Japan, China and European markets, which will drive a 7.7% ACGR for the period. Considering that the global market represents US$647.8 billion in 2027, Latin America’s share should be around the US$125.67 billion mark.

It is not surprising then that the main

Several provinces in Argentina, plus Bolivia, Chile and Peru, anticipate legislation to emulate Colombia, leader of the online and sports betting gambling segment in the region.
