Franke reflects the trend for colour across its sink, tap and cooker hoods ranges

C

olour has been big news in kitchens in recent years and the trend continues

strongly in 2021 as consumers look to freshen up their interiors and introduce a mood-boosting palette. With kitchens serving as much more than a place to cook and wash up over the past year, it’s no wonder consumers want to brighten up the hub of the home with products featuring colourful hues and tactile textures. Franke has offered coloured finishes across its

sink, tap and cooker hood categories for several years, but there has never been such a broad choice than in its latest collection which reflects the current trends for timeless monochrome, pared- back neutrals, industrial styling, modern metallics, retro pastels and more. In its Fragranite sink range the trend for colours

and textures has never been more evident, with a total of 10 colour options now available across its extensive choice of inset and undermount designs, making it easy for consumers to make a feature of the kitchen wet zone. Colours range from classic white, blues and greens, sophisticated neutrals and greys to vogue black. Franke has recently introduced striking Matt Black and chic Oyster finishes across several of its Fragranite sink models, including the popular Maris MRG inset sink range, to reflect the trends for bold colours and organic, earthy shades epitomised by the Dulux Colour of the Year, Brave Ground. stain, fade or mark over time and they also feature Sanitized® anti-bacterial protection helping safeguard hygiene in the home. Franke’s range of standard, filtered, and instant

boiling water taps also offer a choice of distinctive finishes which offer long-lasting quality. Franke has widened the choice of taps available in the on- point colour of matt black to many tap designs, including the new Red Dot and iF Design Award winning Icon tap range with its stand-out sculptural design. The updated Minerva Electronic Instant Boiling Water tap range reflects the trend for metallic accents with its finishes of Champagne Gold, Copper and Industrial Black, while striking brushed Brass and elegant Smoked Chrome continue to be popular finishes across the Active Plus, Neptune and Krios tap ranges.

Colour has also made its way into Franke’s

cooker hood collection with a number of models available in black, white, grey and neutral shades, offering the potential to add another layer of design interest to a scheme. Aimed at younger consumers, the retro-designed wall-mounted Smart Deco hood takes the colour trend to the next level. Channelling Pantone’s 2021 colours of the year of Ultimate Grey and Illuminating, a sunny yellow shade, the Soft Grey and Mustard finish options can add a playful edge into a scheme, while the Green finish brings a touch of nature into the home. The latest additions of Matt Black and Oyster will co-ordinate perfectly with the sinks in the Fragranite range.
