Omega PLC Strengthens Its Contracts Team


ritish kitchen manufacturers Omega PLC are pleased to announce the promotion of three members of the Contracts team to key positions, strengthening this growing area of the business. Sarah Wales has been promoted to the position of Contract Design Manager and Rachel Horner and Melissa Millwood have been promoted to the roles of Senior Contract Designers.

Sarah has worked for Omega PLC for over a year and will now be responsible for the Major Project and Housebuild design teams. Sarah's primary responsibilities will involve working closely with both design teams to provide customers with expert-level design knowledge and product expertise. Additionally, Sarah will collaborate closely with Creative Lead Design Manager, Ben Jones, who is responsible for the strategic design direction for the business.


Rachel Horner joined Omega PLC in 2022, while Melissa Millwood has been a dedicated member of the team for nearly 8 years. Both Rachel and Melissa have extensive experience in contract design and will utilise this in their new roles supporting Sarah in delivering design-led service. Katy Snow, Contract Sales & Operations Director at Omega PLC said, “We are delighted to announce these internal appointments, as they showcase our ongoing dedication to nurturing and advancing the careers of our internal colleagues into more senior positions within Omega.”


Caesarstone expands its operation with new site in Dublin, Ireland


aesarstone, the global leader in quartz and porcelain premium surfaces, has expanded its operations with the opening of a new Irish warehouse and distribution centre. Located just outside Dublin, deliveries have now commenced from the new site.

Caesarstone opened its first UK HQ, distribution centre and showroom in London in 2017, and its second distribution centre and showroom in Manchester’s Trafford Park in 2018. Since then, Caesarstone’s business has continued to grow, with demand coming from all corners of the UK and Ireland. This growth has necessitated a third site near Dublin from which the company will serve its extensive network of Irish partners. “This is another exciting move for our business and a key element in the next stage of our growth,” explains Amir Reske, MD of Caesarstone UK and EMEA. “We already enjoy strong relationships with many of the biggest players in the Irish K&B market. Our new distribution centre will allow us to better support them with improved stock holding and delivery times, as well as bringing us new business as we increase our presence in this important market.”


The new 35,000 sq. ft site will hold circa 7000 slabs, significantly increasing Caesarstone’s Ireland stock holding.


As such, Caesarstone is increasing headcount to support the Irish expansion. James Dignam has already been appointed DC Manager and he joins Caesarstone with almost 20 years of distribution management experience.
