ith brassware now a focal point of the bathroom, the style of the tap or shower itself is now really at the fore. There is now an abundance of finishes available, as well as chrome, and these are often being chosen as a standout feature that brings warmth, character and a sense of luxury to the bathroom. Consumer confidence is growing when it comes to experimenting with more adventurous bathroom design, which is where the trend for making a statement with tap choice comes in. And overall, bathrooms are now less confined to clinical white, polished ceramic and a clean, contemporary feel.
Brass accents in soft tones, perhaps with a brushed finish, are one of the go-to looks to create a luxury vibe in the bathroom, and taps are an ideal way to introduce this trend to the home. This is an excellent material for combining with other on-trend looks, including natural stone and wood for a look that is in fashion but very much timeless too.
In fact, one of the great things about finishes like Brushed Nickel and Copper is that they won’t date the space. This is important to consumers, with elegant, timeless design being a big factor in brassware trends. Particularly when purchased as part of a complete refurbishment project, consumers are looking for sound investments from quality products that have longevity.
