HPP expands and updates storage solutions from Italian manufacturer
range of steel wirework and kitchen storage solutions available from Hill’s Panel Products (HPP) Ltd is being extended and updated.

The Oldham-based manufacturer and supplier of board, doors, fittings and accessories for the fitted kitchen and bedroom industry is expanding the range made by Italian manufacturer VIBO. HPP stocks a variety of VIBO storage products including steel wirework baskets, carousels, larder units, pull-out units and corner cupboard solutions for hard-to-reach and underused areas. It is adding more products within each range to give customers more choice, and waste bins in on- trend anthracite to add to the conventional light grey options already available.
Gary Kinder, HPP’s Purchasing Manager, says: “Our relationship with VIBO goes back many years, and it is a partnership that’s gone from strength to strength over the past 18 years. We visited VIBO last summer to look around their factory and showroom, to get a feel for what they have to offer, and what they believed we were missing out of our range, as well as our own ideas. From that, we identified a list of what we wanted to introduce.”
The new additions include 400mm and 500mm versions of the VIBO Galaxy centre mounting larder unit with adjustable pull-out frame and slides, which is already available in 300mm. All three sizes - 300, 400 and 500mm - of the VIBO Lamina larder unit are being added, along with left hand and right hand fly moon pull-out pivoting shelves and a side-mounted wire pull-out. The three new anthracite bins are two size variations of the VIBO Movebin, and the Kombi waste and recycling bin combination.
Gary adds: “We had some products that were standalone that are actually part of a range, so we’ve added to them to complete the family. Now we can offer the option of buying from the same range of VIBO products for the whole kitchen, which we’ve not really had before in all the ranges.”
Parallels between HPP and VIBO, which is based in the province of Vicenza in north east Italy, have helped to cement the partnership over the years. Both firms are family-owned and formed more than 30 years ago, and both have gone on to outgrow their modest beginnings – VIBO in a shed in Arzignano in 1980 and HPP in one building and a shared warehouse with the neighbouring timber company it de-merged from in Oldham in 1981. HPP, which also has a trade counter in Sheffield, now sells more than 7,000 products, covering a huge range of full and processed sheet materials, vinyl-wrapped furniture doors and furniture fittings. Its own products include Avanti doors, Glide sliding doors, and Aspect and Aspire kitchens and bedrooms. It also supplies products by brands such as Blum, Egger and Kronospan.
