EXCLUSIVELY SHOW 2025 Exclusively – Editor’s Picks

Exclusively - the UK’s premier showcase of housewares, tableware and small domestic appliances - hit the Business Design Centre in London last month. BKU Editor, Matt Broughton, attended, ready to appropriate as much free food and drink as possible.

t’s rare that I get out and about to attend the various shows that serve our glorious sector, but with the Business Design Centre a handy jaunt down the Elizabeth line for me, it seemed rude not to go and take a look at what they had to address the B&K element of our BKU moniker. I was fortunate enough to meet with various talented suppliers, all showing off some of their best wares to the delight of the press and influencers. Here are some of the best bits and pieces I was fortunate enough to encounter.

I

Morphy Richards – Mico Microwave Toastie

Sandwich Maker and Grill My mum always told me to NOT put metal items in the microwave (along with Action Man, ants and my sister’s shoes) so I was VERY sceptical that a toastie could come out anything other than flannel-damp from a microwave. However, this genius little item properly (no… PROPERLY) toasts sarnies without the cleanup of traditional electric machines. As a result, my cheese consumption has quadrupled since the show. Try

Reborn –Washing Up Bowl

I’m a committed recycler, with various bins around my kitchen to separate everything and anything that can be re-used, so am a massive fan of everything about Reborn. UK-made products from 100% recycled plastics using 79% less carbon than equivalent products made from virgin materials from Asia is a massive hook for me. There were so many great items to coo at, but I was most taken by the simplest item – a washing up bowl featuring a useful pour spout (why not recycle that water for plants!) and an integrated plug for quick draining/straining. Simple genius.

AQUAPHOR – CITY COOL Water Filter Bottle

There were SO MANY water bottles at the show, it almost became a joke. As you might imagine, standing out in such a saturated area is no small feat, which is why I wanted to tip my hat in the direction of the AQUAPHOR CITY COOL bottle. An incredibly solid item that made you believe it’ll still be in one piece many years down the line, this bottle has an integrated filter, so you can fill up straight from the tap regardless of the quality of your supply, knowing it’ll be bright and clean each and every swig. Pretty colours and solid design helped win me over.
