SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS Theresa Turner

ArtiCAD

Theresa Turner, Marketing Director at ArtiCAD, spoke to BKU’s Matt Broughton about the company’s goals for the year, as well as how ArtiCAD is staying ahead of industry demands.

025 has so far been a period of discovery, innovation and even transformation for ArtiCAD. “Our company’s recent global customer survey provided valuable insights, reaffirming our direction with excellent scores for software quality and support services,” explains Marketing Director, Theresa Turner. “This has directly informed our innovation efforts, shaping our product and service roadmaps to address priority customer challenges and key development requests.”

Helping customers to sell remains a key focus for the business and this is a main driver for ArtiCAD’s innovation.

In May, the company was delighted to welcome Brandon Kwesiga as Joint MD and Regional VP. Bringing huge industry expertise, a sharp commercial mindset, strong product insight, and a deep commitment to customer experience, Brandon will drive ArtiCAD’s future strategic growth.

Goals for 2025

“Aside from the financial and team performance goals you’d expect, additional goals included: getting closer to customers; increased technology innovation; catalogue content transformation and leveraging every possible advantage from working in ever-closer partnership with our large parent company, SHD AG,” explains Theresa. I ask what qualities she’d like people to think of when they think about ArtiCAD? “I want ArtiCAD to be synonymous with the best of both worlds: powerful, market-leading software and truly exceptional service. Our UK-based team is already known for being both friendly and highly knowledgeable - genuine experts who

are fully dedicated to our customers’ success. When people think of ArtiCAD, I want them to think of innovation, reliability, and a team that genuinely cares.”

What are the largest changes you’ve had to make to your software to ‘keep up’ with the industry in recent times?

Theresa tells me that it’s important to not just keep up with the changing demands of the industry, but to get ahead: “…and we’ve done just that! We systematically match our products, features and functionality with what our customers and the industry want. We’ve invested heavily in developing a complete platform solution approach so we’re not just offering design, pricing and lead generation software but a complete end-to-end suite of leading software. “Our investment in offering superior rendering has delivered results that are second-to-none and in super-fast time! As you’d expect we’ve been working hard to realise the potential for AI in helping our customers to sell and optimise their business operations, resulting in some get-ahead tech. We’ve also developed ground-breaking consumer inspiration and lead generation tools to help retailers, manufacturers and industry suppliers convert more leads and satisfy customers.”

How it works for retailers

The detail depends on the retailer's sales process but typically, a consumer wanting a new kitchen, bedroom or bathroom will start their search online. When they encounter a retailer using ArtiCAD's consumer lead gen technologies, they experience a more thrilling, engaging and rewarding experience - where they can easily specify their style and colour preferences and quickly generate a simple design. (The consumer lead gen tools can feature specific supplier

catalogues and can be linked to automated follow up and/or e-commerce processes, particularly useful for Enterprise retailers or suppliers wishing to generate leads for their retail or contract channels.)

The retailer secures a highly qualified, high quality lead from their website - ready to follow up plus increased showroom footfall from the resulting engagements.

That retailer can then upload the room design submission and use ArtiCAD's powerful design and pricing software to produce professional and compelling design presentations, optionally including on-screen or headset-presented VR plus detailed and accurate quotes that secure customer confidence and ultimately an order! Order processing is made simple, with individual supplier orders, financial management and much more.

The whole process from lead to installation is easily managed using ArtiCAD's KBBConnect, for optimised efficiency and a truly great customer experience.

Sustainability

“As a software company, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Our solutions are designed to help customers digitise their day-to-day operations, streamlining workflows and reducing reliance on paper. One key innovation is our new installation software + app, enabling installers to work entirely paperless. Our renowned virtual reality software, ArtiVR, transforms how new designs are presented - offering an immersive, cutting-edge experience. ArtiVR works across all devices, with the most immersive experience available on Meta Quest™ headsets. “Beyond our products, we’ve taken meaningful steps to reduce our environmental impact. We’ve upgraded our working environment with eco-friendly lighting and air conditioning, and transitioned our company vehicles to electric. In 2022, we proudly partnered with Sustainable X, which provides fully funded support to accelerate business sustainability. Through this partnership, we’ve engaged staff, customers, and suppliers in authentic, measurable sustainability efforts - free from greenwashing. Our commitment has been recognised with a ‘Committed’ Sustainability Badge.”
