BOB strikes a partnership
A new charity partnership has been formed between Snickers Workwear and Band of Builders to support projects across the UK. The two organisations will work
Thailand has been announced as the destination for Ideal Heating’s 2028 Premier Club, with installers able to qualify for a place through its Connect loyalty scheme. Points earned through qualifying purchases will count towards an installer’s target for a place on the trip, with those who reach their target guaranteed a place. Points can be earned across a range of products, including boilers, heat pumps and smart controls. Installers who achieve one-third of their overall target during this year will also receive 30 bonus points. Participating installers will be able to track their points and qualification progress via the Connect loyalty scheme.
The Thailand trip is the fifth
Premier Club event, following previous destinations including Miami, Las Vegas, Dubai, Los Angeles and Los Cabos. Marketing director Carrie Young says: “Since announcing Thailand, we’ve seen a fantastic response from installers. Now it’s time to get started. Premier Club has become one of the industry’s most recognised installer reward programmes because installers know exactly where they stand. If you hit your target, you’re on that plane. We can’t wait to see the incredible Premier Club community come together over the months ahead.” ◼

practical, financial and wellbeing support to construction workers affected by illness, injury or other life-changing circumstances. Its volunteer network carries out projects to improve living conditions and provide practical
assistance to people in need. Gavin Crane, CEO of Band of Builders, says: “We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Snickers Workwear, a brand that is trusted and respected by construction workers.”
Chance to win prizes with product roadshow
A 25-stop Wavin tour is visiting City Plumbing branches across the UK, giving installers the chance to see its Hep2O Keyless fittings, Osma drainage and underfloor heating, and ventilation products. Running until 29 September, the first phase concludes in St Austell before continuing in Scotland later in the year. Installers can meet Wavin experts, try products and access branch promotions. The tour will also feature Wavin’s ‘O Game’ speed
challenge, testing how quickly installers can install and demount Hep2O Keyless fittings, with prizes for the fastest participants. Installers visiting participating branches can also pick up Hep2O Keyless trail packs to test the push-fit system for themselves. ◼
