Commercial heating solution offers greater flexibility

The Remeha Gas 210 Ace has been relaunched as the Baxi Gas 210 Ace. The move is part of Baxi’s wider strategy to simplify the customer journey by bringing products, services and support together under one commercial brand. Hybrid-ready, the high-efficiency Gas 210 Ace features an optional

secondary return option that makes it particularly suitable for use with technologies like air source heat pumps that use low-grade heat. When combined with Baxi’s ASHP range and CHVAC Manager hybrid controller, it can provide an immediate and practicable solution for building owners to meet heat demand more sustainably. Ease of installation is another key benefit. The compact, lightweight

boiler can be installed back-to-back, suiting it to projects where space, access and long-term performance are all critical. Engineered for durability and efficiency, the appliance features a robust aluminium heat exchanger and a GCV seasonal efficiency of up to 95.8%. It also offers flexible control options, including direct weather

compensation, helping systems automatically adjust flow temperatures in response to external conditions. Environmental performance is further boosted by the Gas 210 Ace’s

low Class 6 NOx emissions, from 33mg/kWh (0% O2 dry). This places the boiler within the most stringent emission standards, helping customers meet environmental legislation while lowering their impact on local air quality. Available in multiple outputs, the Baxi Gas 210 Ace provides a scalable

solution for a variety of commercial environments, including education, healthcare, hospitality and leisure, and mixed-use developments. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/926/77

Solid water treatment route to UK market

Roth UK has been appointed sole distributor for DosaFil Residential Technologies’ Solid chemical water treatment range, taking on all UK product enquiries and sales. The Solid range – covering

cleaners, inhibitors and biocides – offers a sustainable alternative to traditional liquid chemical treatments for residential heating and plumbing systems, with OEMs and end users increasingly recognising the financial and environmental benefits of solid chemical solutions. Roth UK, which focuses on underfloor heating

(UFH) design, supply and technical services for low temperature heating and sustainable energy

solutions, is using the chemicals both proactively in new-build systems and to restore older residential systems closer to their original operational efficiency. Graham Moore, general

manager of Roth UK, says: “We’re convinced by the benefits the products offer us and our customers, and we’re committed to providing the best in innovation. The Solid

cleaners, inhibitors and biocides give us the portfolio of products needed to maintain quality of water circulating in UFH systems and associated heat source equipment.” ◼ phamnews.co.uk/926/79

Enhanced flush performance on more WCs

Geberit has expanded its TurboFlush technology across its Aspire and Bathroom Collections. Research from Geberit found 85% of people say they have been

frustrated by a toilet flush not working properly, and only half recall being given flush performance information when buying a toilet, despite 42% rating it more important than look and style. TurboFlush uses an asymmetrical inner geometry to direct

water in a vortex through the bowl, exceeding international flush performance standards by up to ten times while reducing noise. It’s now available across 20 designs, including iCon, Acanto

and Geberit ONE (Aspire), plus Selnova and Smyle (Bathroom Collection). ◼ phamnews.co.uk/926/00
