Press guns for single-handed operation
Installers can take advantage of a wide range of plumbing products from Instantor. These include an Instantor branded 18V press gun. The press gun is available in two versions: the Mini (IT2020) providing an output of 19kN or the Large
(IT2040) delivering an output of 32kN. Designed for use on all common systems, both versions can be used for connecting stainless steel pipe, MLCP and Pex pipe with suitable press fittings (Instantor press and copper press fittings). The high-pressure hydraulic system is powered by a Li-ion battery, actuated by a motor
and controlled by an MCU. For ease of use, the press guns have been ergonomically designed with non-slip rubber grips, carry strap and optimised centre of gravity for easy, single- handed operation. An OLED display shows press count, battery power, working pressure, maintenance notes and fault codes. A three year manufacturer’s warranty is available when registered online, while service
and calibration can be provided by a qualified Instantor service technician, with a calibration certificate provided once complete. ◼

Adaptor gives users an angle on flue gas
The Right Angled Flue Gas Probe Adaptor from Arctic Hayes is described as an essential accessory to enhance the capabilities of existing flue gas probes, making it easier for engineers to measure flue gases in hard-to-reach areas, particularly where standard access points are obstructed. The adaptor essentially helps
users extend the functionality of a flue gas probe. It fits most flue gas analysers on the market, providing the flexibility and precision needed to perform accurate and reliable flue gas measurements in difficult-to-access areas. By seamlessly attaching to an existing flue gas probe, the adaptor allows users
to navigate tight spaces and achieve comprehensive diagnostics with ease. It is designed to fit most flue gas analysers, accommodating 6, 7, 8 and 10mm probes. ◼
