Trade counter supports sustainable bathrooms
Bathroom Spare Parts has opened a new trade counter aimed at professionals in the bathroom industry. The facility, located in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, focuses on providing spare parts and repair solutions to promote sustainability by encouraging repairs over replacements. The grand opening hosted Broxbourne Mayor Sherrie McDaid (pictured, centre, before cutting the ribbon) and MP Lewis Cocking. They were given a tour of the facility and shown the products and techniques that enhance energy effi ciency and water conservation, helping businesses and homeowners reduce their environmental impact and utility costs. The merchant says it aims to serve as a resource for the local business community while contributing to sustainability eff orts. ◼

Screwfi x City stores are based in high footfall areas and provide the essential products customers need to get their jobs done. City stores off er a range of more than 3,000 essential products via Click and Collect, with a further 31,000 available
online for next day
collection. Following initial tests of the
ultra-compact stores, Screwfi x has recently opened a further six City stores across London, including in Islington, Camden, Dulwich and more. The company plans to have up to 20 in total by the end of this year, including the fi rst stores in cities outside the capital, and aims to open up to a hundred over the next few years. Screwfi x Sprint, the rapid delivery
service that provides

Viessmann access deal

Online kitchen and bathroom retailer Plumbworld is celebrating its 25th anniversary after achieving £102.8 million in sales, marking a signifi cant milestone with £100 million in sales. The company saw a 15% growth last year, with an EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) profi t of £9.6 million. Founded in 1999 by the current CEO James Hickman (pictured), Plumbworld has adapted to changes in the internet and retail landscape while maintaining a focus on quality and aff ordability. Hickman sold the business to Grafton Group plc in 2006, bought it back in a management buy-out in 2018, and sold it to the current owners, Highbourne Group, in 2022. The business employs 164 staff across two locations. ◼
