Valsir and its UK distributor Verdis recently welcomed more industry professionals to London’s Woods Quay, showcasing cutting-edge systems and sparking meaningful dialogue. The event refl ected the manufacturer’s commitment to shaping the future of construction – where smart design, shared knowledge and strong partnerships drive progress across the built environment.

O

n 12th May 2025 Valsir, in proud partnership with UK distributor Verdis, welcomed industry

professionals back to Woods Quay for the second edition of its exclusive networking event. Following the success of the inaugural gathering in November 2024, the return to this unique RIBA award-winning venue reaffi rmed Valsir and Verdis’s commitment to providing a platform that brings the industry together for inspiration, connection and shared progress.

Innovation and design Hosted once again at Woods Quay, a strikingly designed venue moored on the Thames with sweeping views from Waterloo Bridge to Westminster, the event refl ected Valsir’s focus on innovation and design excellence. The architectural precision of the space echoed the brand’s own commitment to high-performance, technically advanced systems – making it a fi tting backdrop for showcasing the future of building services. Building on the momentum of

the fi rst event, this second edition brought together a larger and even more diverse audience of Mechanical Engineers, Architects, Consultants and Project Partners. True to its mission, the gathering was not framed as a sales exercise, but as a genuine opportunity to thank long-standing collaborators, share knowledge and foster meaningful conversations. Simon Laff ord-Walker, director of Verdis, remarks: “We wanted

to recreate the same energy as last year, but with more time for our guests to explore the solutions, speak to our team and connect with each other. It was wonderful to see both familiar faces and new ones joining in – some bringing along colleagues and contacts to experience what makes this community special. We’re now looking ahead to October, where we’ll host our next event and introduce something truly exciting: the launch of the AriosaV Compact system.” Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to explore the Valsir systems supplied to over 100 projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors by Verdis. Introducing AriosaV Compact – Coming October 2025 Perhaps the most buzzed- about topic of the day was the exclusive preview of AriosaV Compact, an MVHR unit that can be fi tted in kitchen furniture and utility cupboards, the new addition to the Valsir range set to launch at the next event in October 2025.

Engineered for maximum performance in a reduced footprint, AriosaV Compact combines cutting-edge effi ciency with the same quality and versatility that defi nes the Valsir brand. Whether it’s for new-build or retrofi t applications, this system is designed to meet the needs of modern infrastructure while simplifying specifi cation and installation.

This upcoming launch underscores Valsir’s ongoing mission to push boundaries and redefi ne standards – driven by user feedback and the realities of today’s construction environments. Throughout the event, the recurring theme was community. From informal networking on the sun- drenched terrace to structured Q&A sessions inside the venue, the atmosphere was one of genuine openness and collaboration.

Verdis and Valsir both recognise that innovation isn’t achieved in isolation – it’s shaped by the people who work with these systems every day, who challenge assumptions, and who envision better ways to build. Together, we’re not just building systems – we’re building a future rooted in partnership, purpose, and performance.

Special thanks We extend our sincere thanks to Kate, Tom and the exceptional team at Woods Quay for once again delivering an unforgettable experience. Their professionalism and care helped create the perfect environment for sharing, learning, and celebration. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/625/37
