THE PCR AWARDS 2025 lit up The Brewery in London with a dazzling celebration of the UK tech retailers and resellers to distributors, vendors, and service providers, the evening was a powerful reminder of the resilience and collaboration that continue to gathered under one roof, the atmosphere was electric, charged with anticipation, pride, and a shared commitment to excellence.
THE PCR AWARDS 2025 took place on 24 September, and the evening saw 26 highly coveted awards presented to organisations and individuals who have gone above and support services to gaming, security, and cloud distribution, the hard work, creativity, and strategic vision that drive the channel forward. Hosted by BBC’s Jason
Mohammad and the unmistakable voice of Alan Dedicoat, the ceremony balanced celebration with recognition. It was a night to applaud achievements, forge new challenges and triumphs of the past year. “Your participation in this year’s Awards continues to show the industry’s support for this event and the importance of recognising those who make the sector shine,” PCR Editor Lynn Sencicle noted. That support was evident in the enthusiastic engagement and applause, as well as the vibrant conversations that carried through to the after-party. The judging panel, comprised of seasoned industry experts, faced a formidable task when it came to selecting

winners from the pool of nominees. To be shortlisted alone for their excellence. The awards themselves spanned the full spectrum of channel activity. Ice and a Slice Studios took home Marketing and PR Agency of the Year, while Agilitas IT Solutions earned dual
honours for Technical/Support Service Provider of the Year and Sustainability Initiative of the Year. ASUS, Acer UK, Corsair, Kingston Technology, and TP-Link were among the vendors recognised for their product leadership, while SCC and Transputec led the way in value-added and managed services.
Retail excellence was also front and centre, with Laptops
Direct winning both Gaming Retailer and Online Retailer of the Year, and Rayleigh Computer Shop named Independent Retailer of the Year. PCSpecialist was crowned Systems Builder of the Year, and Utopia Computers earned accolades as Refurbisher of the Year and Highly Commended in Gaming Retail. Distribution awards highlighted the critical role of logistics and supply chain expertise, with Exertis, Spire Technology, QBS Software, TD Synnex, and Ci Distribution all taking top honours. Acer UK also received the Sustainable Packaging Award, highlighting the growing importance of environmentally conscious practices across the channel. The evening concluded with two of the most anticipated
awards: Company of the Year, awarded to QBS Software, and Person of the Year, which went to John Appleton, whose of his peers.
