Zyxel’s Rachel Rothwell

Rachel Rothwell, Senior Regional Director for the UK and Ireland at Zyxel explains the key to Zyxel’s success within the channel and how its cloud strategy is integral to this.

Rachel Rothwell had this to say.

Can you tell us a little about Zyxel in the UK and its partnerships? What’s the outline proposition for both B2B and B2C partners? Zyxel has a well-established and growing presence and partner base in the UK and Ireland. We have three major product lines – network switches, WiFi equipment, and security gateways, all of which can be managed through our Nebula cloud management solution. A growing number of MSPs use Nebula as the central platform for their managed service offering. We also have a number of LTE solutions. We focus on the SMB and SoHo market, and the primary benefit

of our solutions and approach is simplicity – for the partner and for the end-user customer. An increasing number of our products (more than 100 and counting) can be managed through Nebula, the core functionality of which is made available to every customer free of charge. We have seen really strong sales of all our product lines, and especially good growth with our Nebula cloud management and WiFi solutions. We’ve had a lot of success with schools and trusts this year. All our solutions are becoming more and more popular – that’s partly due to word-of-mouth, the dedication of our partners, and also to the simplicity and effectiveness of Nebula and our entire product range. Over the past year our UK shipments and revenues in all product categories have grown significantly – in cloud networking, for
