News Centerprise establishes new IT Operations Centre in Caerphilly
CENTERPRISE INTERNATIONAL has formally opened its new 70,000 square feet IT operational facility on its 17-acre site in Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly County in South Wales. With an investment of £6 million, the company is aiming to create new employment opportunities and further enhance the services it provides to customers and partners while driving economic growth for Wales. The new infrastructure adds significant production capacity for PC building and configuration services. Alongside this, the additional capacity will further enhance Centerprise’s involvement in the Esports industry where it is already supplying high- end gaming PCs and bespoke arenas for Education establishments, Football Clubs and Esports arenas across the UK and Europe. The multi-billion-pound industry is likely to be the centre of gravity for digital skills in the future. Centerprise’s Esports business will provide opportunities for the current and future generations of Wales in one of the fastest growing areas of technology.
ServiceNow, Northeastern University partnership will deliver 250 strong student Government backed skills
development bootcamp SERVICENOW alongside Northeastern University London plan to train 250 new learners through a Skills Bootcamp – part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee. Professor Scott Wildman, Academic Dean from Northeastern University London said: “we recognise the importance of ensuring those searching for a new role, or wishing to improve their skills, get the training they need, and more importantly get the path they need into employment. Our Skills Bootcamp is delivered in partnership with ServiceNow, so participants gain invaluable industry training, and introductions to customers and partners seeking to bridge their talent gap.” Skills Minister Andrea Jenkyns, at the Department for Education, said: “Skills Bootcamps are a fantastic way for adults to boost their skills in digital technology, giving people the opportunity to complete free training to boost their earnings and prospects, while helping businesses to recruit. The tech sector is booming, so adults who complete one of our high-quality Skills Bootcamps with innovative companies like ServiceNow can be confident they are learning the skills employers are looking for, enabling them to progress into a better paid job or embark on an exciting new path.” Developed by the Government as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee, Skills Bootcamps are being delivered in partnership with employers, providers, and local authorities, to help people gain skills for life, help support skills demands in their local area, and ultimately – to help people get a better job.

TD SYNNEX now trading under new brand across Europe and LAC
TD SYNNEX is now trading under the TD SYNNEX brand across Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The news comes after the merger between Tech Data and SYNNEX Corporation in 2021. The company will continue to go under the branding of Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX Company, while its Japan operations are already branded TD SYNNEX. “This is a special moment of celebration as we launch the TD SYNNEX brand in Europe and LAC,” said Rich Hume, CEO, TD SYNNEX. “In this new phase, we will double down on our commitment to delivering higher value to our ecosystem partners through our end-to-end technology portfolio and our comprehensive services offerings, all underpinned by the passion, commitment and deep knowledge of our 22,000+ co-workers around the world.” Although the APAC region will not officially transition to the TD SYNNEX name at this time, the business there has the same access to the global resources that allow the company to provide consistent reach across diverse markets.
