Extreme creates networking cloud continuum EXTREME NETWORKS has introduced ExtremeCloud Edge: a networking cloud continuum, providing customers with more choice and flexibility when it comes to running networking applications, including management, analytics and AI, from anywhere. ExtremeCloud Edge spans across public to private to edge cloud deployments and helps reduce the complexity and operating costs associated with managing a wide spectrum of cloud use cases. Extreme now provides customers with the flexibility to create the edge of their network, whenever and wherever they choose. Enterprises have become significantly more distributed and increasing numbers of users at the edge have grown reliant on bandwidth-heavy and latency-sensitive applications. Because of this, organisations need a seamless and cost- effective way to push networking applications like cloud management, analytics and AI to the edge. ExtremeCloud Edge is a computing platform hosted at the network edge that unifies management of networking applications and enables customers to deploy ExtremeCloud applications

Aryaka Networks launches IGNYTE reseller partner programme

ARYAKA has launched Aryaka IGNYTE, a reseller partner program within the Aryaka Accelerate Global Partner Program. The programme seeks to reignite Aryaka’s partnerships with value-added resellers and systems integrators across the globe, particularly in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where the company has strong relationships with companies such as Deutsche Telekom and CDW. such as ExtremeCloud IQ, CoPilot and SD-WAN across the entire cloud spectrum – from private cloud all the way to the edge. ExtremeCloud Edge eliminates cloud sovereignty concerns and improves network performance by bringing computing power closer to the user, enabling organisations to manage all cloud deployment types from within a single application. This helps customers meet security demands like data sovereignty, boosts the user experience with high bandwidth and low latency performance and reduces costs often associated with complex cloud deployments. ExtremeCloud Edge will be available summer 2023 for select partners and includes Extreme applications including ExtremeCloud IQ, ExtremeCloud SD-WAN and Extreme Intuitive Insights. Extreme’s entire application portfolio will be generally available to all customers across the cloud continuum from edge to public environments in early 2024. The company also plans to expand support to fully certified partner ecosystem solutions.

Google Cloud expands partnerships

GOOGLE CLOUD is expanding its partnering programme with new deals as well as expanding existing relationships.

JumpCloud is partnering with Google Cloud on a new joint offering that enables businesses to combine Google Workspace with the open directory platform provided by JumpCloud to strengthen their security and how they manage hybrid workforces. Organisations now have an open, cloud- forward, and secure alternative to single vendor, legacy solutions. They also have the freedom and flexibility to move to modern, cloud-based solutions to support hybrid work and mixed platform environments. The Google Workspace and JumpCloud package combines collaboration and productivity, directory services, device management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and more in a single offering. Organisations have the freedom to choose best-in-class devices, applications, and infrastructure providers without vendor lock-in and high fees.

Meanwhile, SAP SE and Google Cloud have significantly expanded their partnership, introducing a comprehensive open data offering. This offering enables customers to build an end-to-end data cloud that brings data from across the enterprise landscape using the SAP Datasphere solution together with Google’s data cloud, so businesses can view their entire data estates in real time and maximise value from their Google Cloud and SAP software investments. SAP and Google Cloud’s new open data offering compliments the RISE with SAP solution and will enable customers to access business- critical data in real-time; simplify data landscapes; create trusted insights with Google Cloud’s advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models; perform advanced analysis; use joint solutions for sustainability; and use SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) on Google Cloud globally. The companies also plan to partner on joint go-to- market initiatives for enterprises’ largest data projects, enabling customers to adopt data products from both SAP and Google Cloud.
