Shimano scales back cycling apparel and announces organisational changes


SHIMANO reported that it will scale back its cycling apparel business, which means the Milremo brand and regular Shimano apparel collection will be discontinued. After more than 25 years of investment in the cycling apparel category, Shimano Europe has announced the difficult decision to scale back their activities in this area.


Cycles UK announces opening of new Maidstone store


CYCLES UK have announced the opening of its brand- new Maidstone store as the only Specialized S-Works dealer in Kent.


They have said the new store is double the size of its


previous location, something they say will offer customers an enhanced shopping experience with an even wider range of bikes and accessories. The new Cycles UK Maidstone store is located at Cycles UK Maidstone, Unit 8 Lockmeadow Entertainment, Barker Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 8SF. 

Passenger enters Cycling Market in Partnership with Swift Industries


UK-BASED outdoor clothing brand, Passenger, has announced its entry into the cycling market in partnership with Seattle-based Swift Industries. The brand has said they are partnering with Swift Industries to become one of the bicycle bag brand’s first UK stockists. Passenger says the curated collection of handlebar and frame bags by Passenger marks Swift Industries’ continued expansion into the UK, and introduces their versatile bicycle bags to Passenger’s growing community of outdoor enthusiasts. 
