WINNING P&A DISTRIBUTOR OF THE YEAR: MADISON CEO REFLECTS ON 2024 AND FUTURE GROWTH

Celebrating their latest BikeBiz Award, Madison CEO Dominic Langan provides insights into the company’s performance in 2024 and outlines their long-term plans for continued growth and support for the cycle industry.

2024

turned out to be a year that steadily improved as it progressed. The UK’s turbulent political landscape in

the run-up to the General Election settled quickly after the event, and while the challenges of the cost-of-living crisis remained, we began to see clear signs of recovery. As a long-established, privately-owned business, we are fortunate to be able to continually invest in our future. The cycle market will always have its peaks and troughs, but we remain resolutely focused on pushing ourselves to be market leaders in everything we do.

A significant milestone in 2024 was the incorporation of our new European business, alongside the opening of a new distribution facility in Dublin. This has enhanced the service we provide to our customers in the Republic of Ireland and is a vital platform for expanding our EU exports. We continue to invest in our in-house wheel building under the M:Part Wheel brand and acquired a new hub lacing machine from Holland Mechanics to help speed up our production process and cope with the increase in demand.

Investment in our B2B platform remains a top priority. June 2025 | 19
