GAME DEVELOPERS
CONFERENCE 2024 The Game Developers Conference (or GDC, as we gamer types do love abbreviations) is the go-to event for game developers and business leaders, getting them together in San Francisco to talk about ideas, recent discoveries and insights from around the field so that everyone involved can improve in their craft. Also taking place during the conference will be the Game Developers Choice Awards, a peer-voted celebration of the top games of the previous year and their developers.

PRINCESS PEACH: SHOWTIME! This solo adventure for the Mushroom Kingdom’s Princess Peach will see her adventure through the Sparkle Theater with its guardian Stella, transforming into a variety of different costumes to take advantage of their unique abilities and save the day. Peach hasn’t had a solo platforming adventure since 2005’s Super Princess Peach on Nintendo DS, and that one looked and played nothing like this. Consider us intrigued!

SXSW CONFERENCE 2024 Taking place in Austin, Texas, the SXSW 2024 festival and conference will bring together the global creative community to share their artistic ideas and interests while at the same time networking with other professionals from across the technology, film, games, and music industries. There will also be an assortment of panel discussions and keynote speakers across a staggering 25 curation tracks (that’s like two and a half Develop:Brightons!), so there is likely to be at least one that takes your fancy.
