9 Kwalee has taken on JOHN WRIGHT as its vice president of mobile publishing. In the past he’s been a leader at Luna, ironSource, and Unity. He has big ambitions for Kwalee, where he intends to revamp its external studios strategy. Wright has launched over 100 mobile games globally, so he’s probably a good fit for the job.


10 MELISSA CHU is Cubed3’s new digital market campaign manager. Chu has an MSc in Brand Leadership, and over five years of experience at businesses like Pampers, the shopping network 'momo', and Blended Learning UK. She intends to refresh the Cubed3 brand, and relaunch it before the end of the year.


11 Sandsoft Games has hired ALAA HATATA as its latest game programmer, and she’s

already hard at work in in-house game projects in the studio. In the past she has worked on titles at companies like CGEVO Limitless Innovation, 5DVR and UMX Studio, putting her knowledge of a variety of coding languages, including her speciality C#, to good use. While not doing that, she serves as a guide and a mentor for students that want to work in games.


12 Also at Sandsoft Games is IGNACIO MONTES COBOS. Ignacio has worked in game development for nearly two decades, and is an expert in design and management for mobile game development. He’s worked on a lot of projects, so if you play on mobile you’re likely to have encountered his work, which includes the likes of Monster Legends, Dragon Land and Tasty Town.


13 Bastion has taken on FREDDIE SAUNDERS as an influencer manager for Pinpoint. He most recently left a role at Kairos Media, and in the past has worked with giant brands like AMD, Pepsico, Revolut and Riot Games. He’s a big fan of role playing games, particularly the ones with Pokémon in them.


14 Over at IOI, VERONIQUE LALLIER has joined the team as its chief development officer.

She’ll be operating globally across all their studios, but will be based in the Brighton office that opened back in July. She’s got plenty of experience too, having worked at companies like Hi-Rez Studios, Warner Bros. Interactive and NCSoft, as well as Rockstar Games and Ubisoft in the past.


15 Pip Studios has appointed SHANNON SEWELL as its head of client services and business development. She’ll be putting her wealth of experience from the broadcast industry to work helping support her new firm in expanding its service offerings, including outside of media, as part of a new growth strategy.

16 Finally, the independent agency and production house Big Thursday Creative, has taken on CALLUM SIBLEY as its business development director. He has over 12 years

of experience in the creative and entertainment sectors, and was previously head of games at Realtime. He has also worked with high-profile brands in the past, including Electronic Arts, NetherRealm, and Wizards of the Coast.
