Had it not been taking place on the Wednesday (aka Unmissable Editorial Meeting Day) before gamescom, we might have headed into town for this one, it being near enough on the doorstep for the entire MCV/DEVELOP writing team. Alas, we’ve had to console ourselves with imagining what the 12-hour gaming celebration was like based on the photographic evidence we’ve assembled for you here.


With panels and Q&A sessions that covered streaming, events, podcasting, games journalism and development, as well as a succession of tournaments (including Sonic the Hedgehog, which Vince would have absolutely crushed had he been there), it was clearly a packed itinerary. If that wasn’t enough, it was all taking place across the four floors of Europe’s largest games arcade.
