EVE Online has been attracting spacefaring gamers into its expansive universe for more than 20 years, which made this year’s pilgrimage to the Icelandic capital extra special for the more than 1200 players that made the journey. As well as looking back over the highs and lows (mostly highs) of the evergreen space MMOG, attendees were allowed a glimpse of the next expansion, Havoc, as well as mobile spin-off Galaxy Conquest. The big reveal was for Vanguard (in development at CCP’s London studio), which will see first-person shooter combat return to New Eden for the first time since Dust 514 launched for PS3 more than a decade ago.
