ROCKSTEADY STUDIOS was founded in 2004 by a team of veterans from Argonaut Games, lead by Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker. The studio’s first game in the DC Universe, Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009) put the studio on the map as a global game developer. The Batman: Arkham franchise was born, and Rocksteady cemented a reputation as the developer of one of the most successful series of superhero games of all time. Rocksteady is getting ready to launch the genre-breaking third person action-shooter,
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, in 2023. The game features both single player and co-operative play with up to four players controlling the titular Squad. The studio of nearly 300 developers is based in Kentish Town, London, UK - but
has colleagues working together all across around the world, thanks to Rocksteady’s remote working and flexible hiring policies. Growing steadily and purposefully, Rocksteady is looking to expand certain teams
during 2023 - to both help the successful delivery of Suicide Squad, and to get the studio ready to deliver on future plans. Rocksteady has been anchored around four values: Quality, Efficiency,
Professionalism and Treating People Well - which have all fed into and formed the studio culture, as well as the experience of team members working at Rocksteady.
