TIGA GAMES INDUSTRY AWARDS 2022 November 10th


With 30 awards up for grabs on the night, the TIGA Games Industry Awards remain if nothing else the most plentiful and extensive, from the various expected gameplay categories, for an award for the best legal services supplier (won by Eaton Smith LLP in case you were wondering). Given that attendees had to content with a tube strike, Church House Westminster in London was awash with UK games industry talent, and most were far from disappointed to see worthy winners Supermassive Games pick up three awards (including Game of the Year for The Quarry) and ustwo Games collect two (winning Best Small Studio, as well as Best Casual Game for Alba: A Wildlife Adventure). Among the individual awards, Karen McLoughlin, group director of HR at Sumo Group was presented with the Outstanding Leadership Award, while Dovetail Games CEO Jon Rissik was named Outstanding Individual of the Year. Congratulations one and all!
