FREEDOM WARS REMASTERED Originally released for the Playstation Vita, Freedom Wars Remastered (ReVita-lised, surely?) takes players into a dystopian world where life itself demands a brutal price. Set in a pollution-ravaged future, humanity is confined to colossal prisons known as Panopticons, and every individual, labelled a “Sinner,” is burdened with a million-year prison sentence. To reclaim freedom, players must undertake perilous combat missions, fighting rival Panopticons for scarce resources. Happy new year, everybody!

DONKEY KONG COUNTRY RETURNS HD Donkey Kong Country Returns HD looks to celebrate the legacy of one of Nintendo’s most iconic series, with a fresh, high-definition take on the beloved Wii platformer. This release not only revives classic gameplay but also showcases the series’ visual and mechanical evolution since its debut on the SNES oh-so-many years ago. Arriving as the Nintendo Switch approaches the end of its lifecycle, Returns HD may mark a symbolic last hurrah for the platform, paving the way for the anticipated Switch 2. As one of the last major titles on the current Switch, it stands as both a tribute to the past and a bridge to Nintendo’s next generation.
