Cake & Bake Show timetable goes

Baking enthusiasts are gearing up for one of the UK’s most popular foodie events, as The Cake & Bake Show releases its stage timetable for 2025. Taking place at Olympia London from 28–30 November, the show promises three days of celebrity demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and shopping for all things cake. Organisers have confirmed a stellar line-

up of talent for this year’s event. Great British Bake Off stars Matty Edgell and Sandro Farmhouse will appear alongside Bake Off: The Professionals judge Cherish

Finden. They’ll be joined by well-known cake artists and online creators including Molly Robbins, Ems Foodie Fix, Jessie Bakes Cakes and Lady Berry Cupcakes. Free 30-minute sessions on The Cake

& Bake Stage will cover a wide range of topics, from GR Wrights’ “Quick Christmas Recipes” to Bronya & Sammie’s “Inventive Drip Cakes.” Visitors can also book Pro Masterclasses — paid, hour-long workshops covering baking techniques, sugarcraft and cake decorating in depth. Beyond the demos, the show floor

Fi Europe 2025 Awards finalists to be announced

The stage is set for one of the food ingredients industry’s most anticipated events: the Fi Europe Innovation Awards, part of Fi Europe 2025, will cap off the show with a gala evening on 2 December at Terminal 7, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Now in its 30th edition, the

Visitors can browse competition cakes, pick up festive inspiration, and even upgrade to a VIP ticket for fast-track entry, exclusive lounge access and a goody bag. technology, and

diversity. Categories include Dairy Alternative Innovation, Plant-based Innovation, Health, Food Manufacturing & Packaging, Future Foodtech, Pet Food, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, among others. Entries were free, but only open to exhibitors—except for the

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion category, which was open to non- exhibiting organisations as well. Judging is carried out in two phases. The first round

evaluates submissions based on materials provided (studies, product specs, innovation claims, etc.), with finalists notified by mid-October. The final judging occurs in person, a day prior to Fi Europe’s opening. Winners will be revealed at the Awards ceremony on 2 December. Awards recognise more than just product novelty; finalists and winners gain international exposure, promotion through Fi Europe’s channels, and brand awareness via partners like Smartcore. The Sustainability, Health, and Future Foodtech categories underscore the industry’s growing focus on ethical, resilient, and tech-enabled food systems. With food innovation accelerating globally, Fi Europe’s

criteria reflect realworld pressures: less waste, cleaner labels, affordable alternatives, and inclusive work cultures.

From 4-6 November 2025, the Dubai World Trade Centre will host Gulfood Manufacturing, one of the MEASA region’s premier exhibitions for food and beverage processing. Over 2,500 exhibitors from more than 60 countries will converge to showcase developments across several key sectors. Expect to see cutting-edge

technologies in ingredients, processing, packaging, control & automation, and supply chain solutions. Innovation Tours,

live

demonstrations, and several pavilions (including country pavilions like the German and Swiss ones) will highlight how manufacturers are navigating sustainability pressures, AI adoption, traceability, and resilient operations. The event also includes

a robust side-agenda: the Gulfood Manufacturing Industry Excellence Awards will honour trailblazing contributions in categories

ranging from processing solutions to

packaging

innovations. A dedicated Food Tech Summit will bring more than 100 speakers together to examine the trends driving the future of food-manufacturing. With over 45,000

visitors anticipated, this year’s edition promises wide global reach and numerous networking opportunities. Whether you are a technology provider, ingredient innovator, or supply chain strategist, Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 looks set to be a key moment for the industry to explore, connect, and accelerate forward.
