March has arrived, bringing with it a whirlwind of excitement in the confectionery industry. With Easter on the horizon, we’ve been busy exploring the latest seasonal new product developments, from imaginative chocolate creations to nostalgic treats with a modern twist.
Walking through the bustling halls, we were captivated by the energy, the passion, and, of course, the boundless creativity of the brands shaping the future of confectionery. One of the highlights was meeting with companies like Haldiram’s Overseas, Hames Chocolates, and to push boundaries, blending tradition with new-age ingenuity. For me, personally, it was a joy to taste the new luxury confections from Haldiram’s, which celebrates the unique chocolates, and also lots of functional confections designed for the wellness-conscious consumer. Read our report on page 36 for more.
Now, it’s no secret that the confectionery industry is embracing technology like never
before, and as our feature on Digital Twins (page 24) explores, the ability to digitally (page 12) are making waves in confectionery, with neutraceuticals becoming a driving force in the market, blurring the lines between indulgence and health.
