utkao Company has grown over the years, becoming an international leader in the production of spreads in the private label sector. It has
also stamped its mark on the Italian and International markets for semi-finished products for the confectionery industry (liquid chocolate, chocolate chips, spreads and semi- finished products for fillings in tanks and cream fillings in buckets).
Nutkao Group currently distributes its products in about 80 countries, half of which are outside the EU.
There are two production facilities: one in Canove di Govone (North of Italy) in a modern building occupying 12,000 sq. constructed in 2001, and another one in North Carolina (USA), occupying 8,500 sq., opened in 2015. In 2017, the Nutkao Group undertook the expansion of the facility in Canove di Govone. The new building, located alongside the current one, occupies a total of about 8,500 sq., mainly dedicated to a fully automated warehouse.

board, taking over 80% of the share capital, to support the companyʼs continued growth. Nowadays, Nutkao is the second biggest spread manufacturer in Italy, with a label of its own that is gaining ground and a vast production of chocolate specialities marketed under private labels. With its own brand, the company conveys a dynamic, young image and offers products characterised by an excellent price/quality ratio, appreciated for their content and distributed in attractive containers.
As for private labels, in addition to producing standard spreads for the retail channels, the company makes special products defined jointly with its customers (sugar-free, for food intolerances, etc.).
