The development of our own branded retail range coupled with our online sales growth are two important goals in the evolution of our business.
So, what’s next?
2021 will see Whitakers Chocolates extend its retail range even further. This month sees the official launch of its ‘Inclusions’ range. These new chocolate bars boost not only crunchy honeycomb pieces but are available in eight incredible flavour combinations; think chilli and orange, lemon and cardamon, smoky salted caramel, lime and sea salt, to name a few!
Managing Director, William Whitaker, said: “The development of our own branded retail range coupled with our online sales growth are two important goals in the evolution of our business. It is heartening to see progress in both these areas throughout 2020 and hopefully these trends will continue in 2021 and beyond.” Never a company to forget their past, they also intend to relaunch some of its heritage products. These include milk chocolate covered rose Turkish Delight, dark chocolate stem Ginger and chocolate covered Brazil nuts. New packaging formats and flavour combinations are also expected on its best- selling dark chocolate fondant cream range. This will be welcome news to its ever-growing vegan following.
