Haier Europe has revealed its aims to the sustainable number one appliance manufacturer in the UK and Ireland in 2023; this came at the company’s recent 1 Vision Conference in Manchester.


The event – the theme for which was ‘the power of


three’, one dream, one goal, one vision – was in-person and also live streamed across the UK and overseas. Ruark Audio doubles the size of its UK HQ


Ruark Audio has expanded its headquarters in Essex – doubling the size of its warehouse. The development at its Southend-on-Sea site has seen substantial investment in larger, improved facilities that, the company said, will allow for continued growth in the future. The larger R&D centre now houses a new, acoustically-treated listening room where Ruark said it can perfect its designs; the company’s


next generation of products have been tested there as they have been developed on a completely new proprietary platform. The British, family-owned company continues to see sales increases, comprising larger sales to home-grown customers and higher export demands. Doubled warehouse capacity will enable Ruark to accommodate further growth, it said. Finally, by having its own in-house photographic studio, the company can now


Cambridge Audio has welcomed two key new members to its management team, as the brand accelerates its plans for global growth. Charlie Henderson joins as Marketing Director. Coming from his role as MD of Naim Audio, he brings a fresh perspective to the business and a passion for shaping the future of audio. Marcus Jemmotte joins as Finance Director, with a background across a range of companies in the digital, marketing, retail and e-commerce services sectors. Cambridge Audio’s MD, Stuart George, commented: “Over the last few years, we’ve been able to adapt to the many challenges facing our industry. We now have a real opportunity to realise our ambitions. Charlie and Marcus coming on board will undoubtedly help us see our goals come to fruition as we enter our next phase as a company.”


Rangemaster has a new Head of UK Sales. Lee Harris (right) has been promoted from National Account Manager to support the company’s bid to become the go-to premium appliance brand and strengthen its position as number-one range cooker brand in the UK.

work directly for Iskender Diker, joined Rangemaster in 2018 with more than 11 years’ experience in the home appliances sector; he previously worked at BSH and before that, Vestel UK. “I look forward to working closely with our National Accounts and Retail Teams to maximise sales opportunities across our portfolio and drive company growth,” he said.
