TRIC Awards partners with Euronics for 2022 event

The TRIC Awards 2022 will be in partnership with Euronics. This is the first time that TRIC has given a sponsor an in-partnership status for the Awards, and it said it will allow both brands to tap into new audiences nationwide. The buying group is also an official sponsor of

the UEFA Women’s Football this year, and will be donating tickets to TRIC for the Women’s Euros as part of the silent auction to raise money for TRIC’s chosen charities – which are Save the Children and the Alzheimer’s Society.

TRIC Chair, Dan Todaro, said: “This is a great partnership which complements the Television and Radio Industries Club’s ethos, raising funds for good causes on behalf of talent across broadcast media online, on TV and on radio and also those that produce the devices we watch and listen on.” The TRIC Awards 53rd ceremony will be back at

the Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London on Wednesday 6 July, with the best talent of TV, radio and online coming together. TRIC President, Alex Jones, will host the ceremony.

Incentive gift voucher for indies attending Exclusively Show

Independent retailers interested in visiting the Exclusively Show this year can take advantage of a generous package of incentives – including a £100 gift voucher. The Show takes place at The Business Design Centre, Islington on 14-15 June, and the Exclusively £100 voucher can be used towards any single order with a minimum value of £300 minimum (net VAT), placed at the Show, and it will be accepted by all Exclusively exhibitors. In addition, any independent SDA retailer, cookshop, gift shop or garden centre living over 50 miles from the show’s venue in Islington can claim travel expenses of up to £75. Will Jones, Chair of Exclusively and CEO of

BHETA, the industry trade association which owns the show, explained: “BHETA has a real commitment to helping all retailers make the most of the opportunity that Exclusively presents to the industry. “We know that independent stores have had a tough time with closures through lockdowns and this incentive package is about helping them get back to attending events and face-to-face relationships with suppliers.” Exclusively will see more than 130 exhibitors and 200 brands on show and it is a perfect opportunity for independents to check that their product choices and instore displays are ‘on the money’ in the years ahead. Mr Jones added: “Inspirational product displays, trend talks and tours from forecaster, Scarlet Opus, are hugely popular and it’s great to be able to make this ‘must see’ event super- accessible for everyone.”
