The great outdoors! 26 Tower Magna Round Gas Fire Pit
Sitting outside with some background music and mood lighting is great, but what about when guests get hungry or a bit chilly?
Here, ERT looks at some of the latest outdoor appliances that will ensure everyone has a comfortable and cosy Summer evening…
A
t last, the long Summer evenings are here and finally people have a chance to fully enjoy their gardens and outdoor spaces. Despite the typical hit-and- miss British weather, the desire for al
fresco dining and socialising will boom in the coming months, so retailers need to be prepared. And with such a blend of interior and exterior home
spaces these days, garden appliances are becoming increasingly popular…
Cooking Tower recently launched its Goucho Six Burner BBQ with Plancha – perfect for the Great British Summer because the cast iron grill features excellent heat retention, while the powder coated steel body offers greater resilience against rust, high temperatures and warping. With two independent cooking surfaces that serve
up to 10 people, it will certainly be popular with large families and BBQ enthusiasts this year. “We have expanded our Tower Outdoor Living
range with an enhanced selection of gas BBQs, charcoal BBQs, fire pits, chimineas, outdoor heaters and tools and accessories,” explains Simon Oliver, Commercial Director Home and Outdoor Living at RKW. “Our new range will be shown off for the first time at
SOLEX, the Summer Outdoor Living Exhibition, at the NEC Birmingham in July. “The Kamado Maxi (above right) and Kamado XL
Ceramic Charcoal BBQs are two exciting launches arriving soon. We’ve developed these grills to look as stylish as they are functional, boasting a contemporary egg shape and embossed finish to give them a real ‘wow factor’ in the garden.”
Users can smoke, bake, grill and sear ingredients
in an instant; the ceramic grill heats in minutes and remains hot for hours. Airflow control, an airtight seal and built-in thermometer make it easy to control the temperature and achieve that authentic chargrilled taste. Te Maxi model is great for smaller gardens, while the
XL model is designed for larger get-togethers. Mr Oliver adds: “We see our latest selection of BBQs
being particularly popular with those celebrating Te Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at street parties spontaneous outdoor outings!”
