New category for 2023!

Celebrating the best and brightest in the business, all the usual categories are returning, but this year there’s a brand new one! The Best Independent Electrical Retailer – Custom Install award, sponsored by AWE, will be handed to a dealer that has developed its brown goods custom installation offering in line with the growth of its associated product areas, and demonstrated how it has utilised the margin opportunities to develop its business. Even if it’s simply fixing a standard-size TV to the wall, the judges will want to see how retailers go the extra mile to cater to their customers’ needs.

Exclusively exhibition space sells out

Exhibition space at the Exclusively Show has completely sold out to exhibitors, the organisers have said. All spaces in all areas of the Show, including the Launchpad for small companies and start-ups, are now taken – with more than 140 exhibitors and 300 brands on display. “This news is an exciting endorsement of Exclusively’s pivotal role in communicating new product development and the latest trends to all the key buyers in the sector,” said Show Sales Director, Seema Grantham. The Show returns to The Business Design Centre in Islington on 13 and 14 June this year. And it

Retailers should show examples of some of their best installation projects, describing the original requirements, the work that was carried out, and the end result. All of this year’s winners will be announced at

the prestigious ERT Awards ceremony in London on 9 November! The entry form, category criteria and other information is on the ERT Awards website: www.ertawards.co.uk.

welcomes new exhibitors including Aquaphor, Beurer, Strata and Sue Ure, plus the return of many others including Bluestem Group, Brita, Dualit, Joseph Joseph, Melitta, RKW, Strix and Swan. Ms Grantham continued: “We had a brilliant number of visitors last year, but I’m expecting even more this year given the combination of quality exhibitors and popular show features.”

As an incentive aimed at indie retailers, organisers

are including a £100 voucher to be used towards any single order with a minimum value of £300 (net VAT) placed at the Show. Plus, any independent electrical retailer or similar more than 50 miles from the Islington venue can claim travel expenses of up to £75. There are also a limited number of free hotel rooms available.
