Hisense has reported of significant sales uplifts following its sponsorship of EURO 2020. The electronics manufacturer was an Official

and many in the industry. All of our thoughts and support are with Chris’s family at this extremely sad time, especially his wife and three young children.” Friends and colleagues can make donations if they

Taking place in London AND via a live stream on 16 September, the 2050: Fridge of the Future event will bring together stakeholders to discuss changes in society, concerns about the environment, and the opportunities offered by new technology. What will the Large Domestic Appliances of 2050 and beyond look like? What effect will measures to meet Net Zero targets have on the appliances of the future? This free-to-attend event is a collaboration led

by the Office for Product Safety and Standards, in partnership with City, University of London, The Association of Manufacturers of Domestic Appliances (AMDEA) and London Fire Brigade. It will feature themed panel sessions that will

stimulate discussions to understand what Large Domestic Appliances in the future will likely look like, how this will be shaped by evolving demand, new technologies, environmental considerations, and the impact these might have on product safety. For those attending in person, AMDEA is

sponsoring a drinks reception after the event. Further info and the full agenda is available online.
