NEW PRODUCT SHOWCASE
THE ICE FUSION BRUSH – THE NEXT EVOLUTION IN SYNTHETIC BRUSH TECHNOLOGY ProDec developed the Ice Fusion brush in order to make achieving a top-quality finish easier and quicker than ever before. To do that they invented a new technology for ProDec: Shard filaments and Form Recovery Technology.
IBSTOCK’S NEW PRODUCT SELECTOR STREAMLINES BRICK SOURCING
Ibstock Brick has launched an innovative new Product Selector designed to help architects, specifiers, merchants and builders identify the perfect brick for their project.
The Ibstock Product Selector allows users to customise their search, displaying the final product in varying project views and configurations. Further to this, an intuitive configurator and easy-to- use interface, ensuring it is highly interactive and user-friendly.
NEW ACOUSTIC VIBRATION REDUCTION UNIT ELIMINATES NOISE CAUSED BY DIAPHRAGM COMPRESSORS
Marsh Industries has launched a product to target issues within the water and wastewater treatment sectors. Whisspurr, an innovative acoustic vibration reduction unit significantly reduces noise and vibration that is caused by diaphragm compressors.
Additionally, the product image updates as the user modifies each variable, making the process more visually led, which benefits the user by allowing them to see a customised version of each brick. The product selector is one of the latest in a series of disruptive technology innovations from the brick manufacturer. The I-Studio, was opened earlier this year which includes an intuitive brick slip scanner. This enables users to project their drawings onto the wall to see exterior and interior aesthetics with each style of brick.

Standard synthetic filaments are shaped like cylinders that taper to a fine point near the top so, whilst you get a brush-mark free finish, there’s little space between filaments and much of the paint can tend to load near the top of the brush, meaning it can be dumped onto the surface at once and require working out. Shard filaments taper from the base all the way to the top so there’s more space between filaments for paint to load up the brush, which makes for more even loading and smoother release, requiring less working out.
Form Recovery Technology uses semi-elastic polymers to make the Shard filaments, which means that when they’re bent during application or washing, they spring back into shape. This also enables the brush to hold a razor-sharp cutting line.
Plus, Ice Fusion’s seamless ferrule means there’s nowhere for paint or wash water to collect,
It is designed to fit inline between the compressor and
air diffuser. The Whisspurr dampens the high frequency pitch and absorbs sound and vibration generated from the compressor whilst enabling a consistent, unrestricted flow to the air diffuser. The Whisspurr does not restrict air pressure from the compressor neither does it increase back pressure to the compressor. Available in four standard sizes
solving another common issue that tradesmen experience. Ice Fusion is available in 1in, 1.5in, 2in, 2.5in and 3in sizes as well as a three-piece set and is stocked in national and independent decorators and builders merchants.

and is compatible with all types of compressor; Bibus Secoh, Charles Austen, etc. The unit can also be retrofitted to older existing compressors.
In extension to this, Marsh is also launching acoustic compressor housings in two sizes that further widens the companies offering in this environmentally sensitive area.
