ARBOR FOREST PRODUCTS NEW TREX RANGES Arbor Forest Products’ newly expanded Trex range will include new colours in Trex Transcend as well as new Trex decking products, designed to suit any project or budget that installers may be working on. The new products will allow merchants to offer customers more choice at an increased range of price points, without compromising on quality. Like Trex Transcend, the upcoming ranges are made from 95 per cent recycled materials, including reclaimed wood and sawdust and plastic packaging.
The Trex collection composite decking won’t fade, stain, rot, or split, and it’s easy to clean with just a quick wash needed to bring it back to its pristine best.

3. New Ezy-Install Changes Perceptions of Flooring Ezy-Install Flooring makes the process of installing a floor far easier, cleaner and quicker than ever before. Ideal for commercial and residential applications, complex designs using carpet and luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) can be rapidly achieved due to the simplicity of the system. Tiles can be interchanged, meaning design changes and repairs can be carried out with no specialist skills required. The system comprises a high- performance underlay, which is simply dry-laid on to a prepared base and cut to shape. Carpet, wood or luxury vinyl tiles are then held securely in place utilising Ezy-Install’s unique double grip properties of high grab adhesive tack and magnetic attraction. Ezy-Install provides a
conformable, compression resistant base, for which minimal subfloor preparation is required. IOBAC’s patented resin
technology converts the underlay into a magnetically-receptive base onto which top surface tiles can then be added. It also gives the underlay a high grab adhesive

2. Dakea Windows ‘raise the roof’ in Leeds loft conversion For an experienced property renovator undertaking a bungalow conversion in an exclusive Leeds suburb, Dakea Better Safe PVC windows were proposed and installed by contractor Room at the Top.
The loft conversion plans were drawn up by the client’s architect turning it into a two- storey property. To fill each room with plenty of light and allow for natural ventilation, the architect specified a total of 13 roof windows across the new roof structure.

pivot roof windows have been installed, mainly the M4 size (78 x 98cm) and two C2 size (55 x 78cm). The PVC option was partly selected, as they’re good for high- humidity rooms for the level of quality they offer.
Better Safe PVC ensures a very low maintenance option with the windows easy to clean, resistant and not requiring much treatment. In terms of the glazing too, the new thermostat solution provides an excellent energy conservation performance of 1.3 W/m2K, as well as toughened external glass and laminated internal glass making them more resistant and safer in case of glass breakage

New installation packs, which include all of the essential accessories for the Aerona³ Air Source Heat Pump range, will be available from Grant UK in the New Year providing customers with cost savings while also simplifying the order process.
Available from January 2020, three new installation packs will be supplied by Grant UK to complement all four models within its Aerona³ R32 air

The Grant Aerona³ installation packs are made up of eight core accessories required for heat pump installations with one pack being ‘standard’, the second including the addition of a 30ltr Volumiser and the third pack including the addition of a 50ltr Buffer. The following components are supplied in each pack: AC Isolator, 18ltr sealed system kit, flexi foot kit, Mag One filter, through wall insulation kit, 25ltr anti-freeze, domestic hot water boost kit and hot water priority relay. Installation Pack 1 (HPIDR32PACK1) is the standard pack which contains the eight core accessories. Installation Pack 2 (HPIDR32PACK2) comprises of the eight core accessories plus a 30ltr insulated Volumiser while Installation Pack 3 (HPIDR32PACK3) includes the eight core accessories plus a 50ltr insulated Buffer with integrated 3kW immersion.
