H

yve Group, the company behind a number of the UK’s leading retail trade events for the home, gift

The show aims to ‘bring the world to the UK’ as an easier, cheaper and more effective destination to discover what’s trending, and develop and source new materials and products. The event team is working with

Visitors will get to meet manufacturers

from key sourcing regions including China, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Tunisia, Zimbabwe and many more.

“Source Home & Gift will

introduce ethical and sustainable manufacturers from around the world to the UK market… Bringing together the world’s most responsible manufacturers across a range of categories.”

Exhibitors, meanwhile, will gain an

opportunity to grow their business at the show, showcasing new products and manufacturing techniques to a new and relevant retail, design and hospitality market. Key buyers and sourcing directors from across the globe will be in attendance - all actively looking to establish new relationships and purchase from new suppliers in a sustainable way. The show aims to provide a highly transactional, high-ROI platform for suppliers, manufacturers and makers.

Providing visitors with the opportunity

to connect with global manufacturers and co-create new products and ranges, Source Home & Gift will introduce ethical and sustainable manufacturers from around the world to the UK market. Bringing together the world’s

most responsible manufacturers across a range of categories including homewares, textiles, gifts and toys as well as handcrafted artisan products. Home & Git will create an unparalleled platform that enables buying teams to source responsibly. To celebrate the launch, Autumn Fair

hosted a launch party on the Inspiring Retail Stage on Monday 5 September. The event was opened by Suzanne Ellingham, sourcing director at Autumn Fair, followed by live music and drinks. Ellingham commented: “The launch

of Source Home & Gift indicates a step change in the way retailers and brands are now able to source products. Retailers and buying teams have been telling us that they are actively looking for responsible manufacturers, those that are not just producing sustainable products, but those that pay fair wages and are fundamentally operating in the right way. The challenge for them is finding those manufacturers, Source Home and Gift solves that problem, and by working with governments around the world who are supporting this new sourcing dynamic.”
