Queues at ProCook’s latest store opening


ProCook opened the doors to its latest store at Rushden Lakes in Northamptonshire recently, with customers queuing around the building to enter the new 2,300 sq ft store. It is one of four openings for ProCook in 2022 as the business pursues UK retail expansion. The new premises takes ProCook’s total UK store count to 56, and is creating six new jobs for the area.

Quiet Mark names Samm Swain director of retailer and brand partnerships


Global certification program Quiet Mark has appointed Samm Swain as director of retailer and brand partnerships. She will lead Quiet Mark’s UK, Europe and North America retailer and manufacturer certification partnerships. Bringing over 25 years expertise in housewares, furniture, seasonal and SDA, buying and merchandising, she has worked for retail groups and been a consultant for retailers, manufacturers and electrical brands. New UK sales team members at Black + Blum


Black + Blum, leaders in the premium food and drink on-the-go sector, has appointed Nitin Goyal as UK sales manager, responsible for the UK customer base. Following a recent spell in the fashion industry, Nitin ran his own business for six years designing and developing soft furnishing and accessories, which were sold via quality retail home shops. The company has also added Richard Smith as sales agent, covering many of the customers outside London and providing a more regular and personal service.

RKW launches ‘Energy Savers’ campaign


RKW has partnered with the energy experts at Sust-it for an ‘Energy Savers’ campaign to help educate consumers on energy usage and the cost-saving benefits of all its first-party products from Tower, Carmen and Warmlite. Sust-it’s online database provides easily accessible information for RKW appliances such as cost of electricity per five minutes and yearly costs that are based on a standard UK tariff, allowing consumers to make informed choices.
