The TRA will be reviewing the anti-dumping measure inherited from the EU to determine whether it is still suitable for the UK’s needs. This measure is due to expire on July 16 2024. The current anti- dumping duty on the above goods ranges from between 13.1% and 18.3% with a residual rate of 36.1%.
Meyer and Groupe SEB launches Cookware Sustainability Alliance

roupe SEB and Meyer Corporation has announced the formation of the Cookware Sustainability Alliance
“A core principle of the Cookware Sustainability Alliance is to ensure that discussions and decisions concerning and data-driven analysis,” said Steve Burns, President of the CSA. “Policymakers and experts who can discuss and answer questions about the safe and stable use of PTFE in cookware products.” The announcement stated: “Innovation in cookware manufacturing has advanced enhancing the culinary experience and kitchen convenience. However, in recent years, the industry has faced sensationalised claims and unfounded fears regarding cookware manufacturing processes. “An immediate priority for the CSA is engaging in the policy-
