despatch. Tom Roberts, Dexam’s operations manager in

charge of the warehouse, said: “We decided to rerack the warehouse over the Christmas and New Year period to keep the disruption to our great service to an absolute minimum. It was certainly a challenge and wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic hard work of the warehouse team. There is some fine-tuning of pick bays and pallet locations but that can happen over the coming weeks and months. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved and it’s a brilliant start to 2022!”

January announcement about the removal of COVID-19 ‘Plan B’ restrictions. Andrew Goodacre said: “It is a positive sign to see the Omicron wave abating, but we hope that the decision to remove some of the regulations is based on science rather than political reasoning. Retail businesses need certainty and we want to be sure that retailers do not need to re-introduce these measures in the near future because the government has acted in haste. We now hope that the government can focus on business support as we look to recover.”
