Head of marketing Michèle Gilli says: “We decided to exhibit because we would like to reach new clients from England. We did sell a few years ago and stopped but now we want to take it over. “As the exhibition is small we did not expect much. But we were pleasantly surprised by the number of good and bigger companies that attended, including well-known brands - and not only from England. “We were also very happy with the organisation. It seems the exhibition did a good job of getting buyers to the
fair. And the catering was very good too. We do more than 13 exhibitions annually all over the world, and the food is normally not like that! “The products we showcased were all about table cooking, from typical Swiss items such as fondues, raclettes and chocolate fondues, to multifunction table cooking items. “Each year we launch 250-350 items, so we had plenty of news to tell, from big highlights to basic items. Many
different products got a lot of attraction but those that received the best reception were all our Himalayan salt items, big fondue bars, wood looking raclettes and backpacker raclettes.”
